Instagram Management & Consulting

From 300 to 13,000 - Growing an Instagram account in the luxury home decor industry with a combination of hands-on management and consulting.

Fine home furnishings, lighting, accessories and textiles for over 30 years. As both the in-house Director of Marketing and as an outside vendor for Rose Tarlow Melrose House, Arica managed all marketing efforts for the brand including social media platforms. When it was time for the efforts to be brought back in-house with a new internal team, Hart & Highland conducted a series of consulting sessions. With a focus on social strategy and best practices, as outlined below, H&H worked with RTMH to help continue upward growth and engagement within the interior design community.

  • Beginning in 2014, developed the brand’s Instagram strategy and grew following from 300 - 9K.

  • From 2014 to 2018, managed all social efforts, including the following for Instagram:

    • Content planning as part of a fully integrated marketing plan including with email, blog and public relations efforts.

    • Campaign development to coincide with seasonal product launches.

    • Content sourcing and management for both photography and graphic design needs.

    • Content curation for posts in main feed and in Instagram Stories.

    • Caption copywriting and hashtag sourcing.

    • Posting content for posts in main feed and in Instagram Stories.

    • Audience engagement and Direct Message customer service support.

    • Reporting and analytics on monthly and quarterly basis.

  • In 2016, continued to provide hands-on social support as outside vendor and grew Instagram following to 13K.

  • In 2018, provided in-house team with a full social media strategy and in-person consulting/training sessions.

  • All efforts are based on and in result of a purely organic approach (non-paid).
